One of my other past hobbies was metal sculpture back in the 70's. Having a little welding background from work I got interested in doing what we call whimsy nuts and bolts sculpture. It turned into a money-making hobby with my wife Sandy at the time being the marketing manager. She would do the selling at weekend Mall shows that was popular at the time and I spent the time welding and watching the kids. She would take orders for special things people did and I would put them together, I had a saying if you did it I could weld it. As you can see below some people wanted some weird things. We also had a catalog you could order from with the guy on the john being the best seller.
